The Experience
Capturing the Real You

Lifestyle Sessions –
Outdoors or Cozy at Home
Whether we’re photographing your family under the soft glow of the evening sun or in the quiet comfort of your home, each session is a gentle celebration of your love, your connection, and the story you’re writing together.
Outdoor sessions shine brightest when the light is soft and golden — early mornings or the warm glow before sunset (about two hours before) create the most natural, flattering look for heartfelt moments.
During winter, the best light is usually between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Weather may change, but we’ll plan together with care — so everything feels just right.
Home sessions — especially with newborns — are all about comfort, calm, and connection.
There’s no perfect hour — only the gentle rhythm of your baby and the peaceful moments we’ll capture as they come.
What to Wear
For light, timeless images filled with tenderness, I recommend choosing neutral and pastel tones.
White is always a beautiful choice — especially for maternity and family sessions. It reflects light softly and adds that airy, emotional feel that brings your photos to life.
Soft shades like beige, pale blue, sage green, and blush pink blend beautifully into the gentle, natural style we’ll create together.
But most of all — wear what makes you feel at peace and present. Because that’s what truly makes your photos shine.
Let’s Make It Meaningful
Whether you're dreaming of an outdoor adventure or a cozy moment at home, the most meaningful photos happen when you're fully present — calm, connected, and just being you.
That’s when your story truly comes to life.
Once your session date is set, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to answer your questions, help with every detail, and ensure your experience is as beautiful and heartfelt as you’ve dreamed.
Where Stories Begin
Suggested locations for your photoshoot
These are a few places I love — quiet, beautiful, and full of gentle light.
They’re here to inspire you. But your story can begin anywhere —
a path you know by heart, your childhood backyard, or somewhere that simply feels like home.
I’ll gladly meet you there.

Lakeside Daydream
Just an hour from Ottawa, this quiet lakeside spot feels like a peaceful escape from the everyday.
Surrounded by forest and calm water, it’s the kind of place where families can slow down, kids can explore freely, and everyone has room to breathe. There’s soft light, open space, and a feeling of calm that makes it perfect for all kinds of sessions.
Whether you’re expecting, cuddling a newborn, or just want to capture your family as you are — this location offers a beautiful, natural setting with a relaxed pace.
If you’re dreaming of something simple, real, and connected to nature, this place might be just right for you.

Green Heart of the City
A little green escape in the heart of the city — where nature and architecture meet.
This park blends wide open lawns, blooming gardens, and beautiful views of Ottawa’s iconic buildings. Kids can run, laugh, and play freely, while quiet corners under tall trees offer the perfect setting for snuggly newborn or maternity moments.
It’s full of life but never too busy, with just the right mix of energy and calm.
If you’re looking for a session that feels vibrant yet relaxed — this city spot might be just right.

Golden Quiet
This place feels like a gentle pause — far from the city, wrapped in quiet and stillness.
Soft grasses, long wooden boardwalks, birdsong in the air — it’s just you and nature.
No rush, no noise.
Just space to breathe and be together.
Perfect for maternity, newborn, or family sessions, especially if you love slow moments and natural beauty.
A gentle note:
some trails have no railings, so just a bit of extra care is needed.
How it Works
Step 01
Secure Your Session
After reviewing the information on my website, the next step is to book a date and time for your photoshoot.
Once your booking is complete, the next important step is to sign the Photography Contract Form.
Please note: signing the contract guarantees your booking and confirms your agreement to the session terms.
Step 02
Planning
Once your photoshoot date and time are booked and the contract has been signed, feel free to contact me.
We can go over all the details together — including the concept, location, outfits, and any other preferences or questions you may have.
You’re welcome to reach out via private message or email anytime.
Step 03
Timeless Moments Unfold
Today is the day of your long-awaited photoshoot. Don’t worry about posing – what truly matters is the love, tenderness, and warm embraces you’ll share, along with the smiles. Just think of the magic in a mother’s gaze as she adores her newborn, or a father gently holding his child’s hand. Be yourselves, and I’ll help capture the heartfelt story of your life.
Step 04
Revealing Your Story Day
Within 2 weeks, you will receive your photos via a private Google Drive link. Once you download the gallery to your computer, you can print the photos for your family album at any time. Your photos will also be stored with me for one year.
